“I really enjoyed the experience. I like to be in control and know what is going on. (Having your day planned.) The way this is done it takes you out of your comfort zone where you are reliant on others controlling your life.”
“Can’t think of a single thing I would change in the program. I Loved it!”
“Overall, a really great three days with a positive improvement for the team.”
“There is nothing worse than the annual onsite or hotel offsite strategy day. Dull, dull, dull. So it was with much excitement and curiosity that our leadership team accepted an invitation to attend a 2 day “team-building event” somewhere on the outskirts of bushland Sydney. Scott picked us up promptly outside our building and our adventure began. We had been given a detailed kit list and if I can give away any hints – make sure you pack each item! We arrived at our drop off point to be greeted by 2 very fit looking guys – called Rob and Taff (who we later discover had previous lives as an SAS Sniper and Counter Intelligence operator). For the next 2 days we “went bush” with each member of our 6 person team able to lead a carefully crafted task which tested our leadership capability and ability to think laterally. These tasks ranged from construction of our own “shelter”, to navigating land-mines, and abseiling. It was amazing how just through performance of physical tasks and allowing others to trial their leadership techniques how quickly we bonded as a team. For those (like me) that appreciate the finer things in life, don’t panic, there were also plenty of opportunities to sit back and enjoy some lovely meals and wines and listen to the facilitators war stories (“literally!”). I recommend the experience to any new teams wanting to invest in building their team to be the best it can be.”

“Scott was engaged to help us establish risk management plans for our editorial team covering the Socchi Winter Olympics.
- risk awareness sessions
- emergency and communication planning
- and on-call support.
His interaction with us was engaging and eye opening – as only an ex-soldier can provide. Our team benefited greatly from Scott’s support before and during our assignment. Following this we also engaged Scott to brief our journalists covering the Paralympics and World Twenty20 Cup. His service is truly professional.”
